  Disappointingly dismal
  Food looked okay BUT fries were cold, awful burgers and inedible calamari. The iced chocolate weak and tasteless. Iced coffee was good. Friendly staff, clean toilets and in same complex table tennis tables a large outdoor swimming pool. A good place to hang with children as it’s cool inside the cafe which is very large and they can swim and play games.
  Just don’t get your hopes up re the food.

  One of the few places on the island that does breakfast & they do it well! Coffee was good, eggs Benedict was delicious and good serving sizes! Staff were very friendly, it was very busy but we were able to walk in and get a table straight away. They seem to have high turn over if customers so waiting for a table wouldn’t take long! Lovely place and vibe, good menu options and a few take away options for those not wanting to dine in :)

  We went to the Marina Cafe a couple times during our stay and, overall, we were happy with our experience there. The sandwiches were pretty good and, with the salad of the day, they were great options when we didn’t want to spend too much for lunch but still have a satisfying meal!
  
  I would recommend coming for their sandwiches and salad of the day (which can be found at the counter), but not that much for their menu items. We ordered the Fattoush salad and, while it was tasty, it was quite pricey for what it was. And the portion was small.

  Two parents and two grown kids had a lovely lunch here. Toasted sandwiches were very nice. The kids had the sushi and loved it. Their frappes were awesome - their words. Mum loved her coffee. They made an error and cooked another sandwiches. I said I would take it if it didn’t belong to someone else. I got it. I would have paid, but didn’t have to. Please readers, I don’t think this is a regular offer. Bright and airy atmosphere, with a view of the marina. I guess that accounts for the name of the cafe. Loved it.

  (Like most Hamilton island establishments) resort owned so not the highest quality. Good brunch spot on the water, but for service at peak times expect 40+ minute wait times!

  Muesli, multigrain toast and cappuccino make a good follow-up to the 7:00 a.m. catamaran crossing from Airlie Beach.
